2002 Pac Performance Party Time Nationals

This was the first time the Pac Performance Party Time Nationals had been held, and for a first attempt it was pretty good. One major problem with the event was that it was held on the same weekend as the 4, 6 and Rotary Nationals in Adelaide, an event which has a good reputation for being one of the best small car shows in the country. So therefore a lot of the major workshops took their cars to Adelaide, leaving the Pac Nationals with a small, but quality turnout.

There were a lot of quick Pac Performance cars there, including the famous 'PACMAN' RX-3, as well as the 'Can't Stop Towing' RX-3 Coupe, the 'TUF20B' 929 Sedan and the 'GASNGO' RX-7. A few notable highlights were the silver RX-3 with a 20B engine and numerous tough RX-3 sedans including 'GADGET', 'UNTAMD' and 'DUZ10S'. Fighting the rotaries were a few V8's as well as a Datsun 240Z from Japan with a Skyline GT-R engine.

Overall not a bad weekend, but next year perhaps they could be held on different weekends.
